Steve Meier
Steve has worked in construction since 1985 — as a carpenter, foreman, and engineer — building custom homes and commercial projects including offices, restaurants, medical facilities, municipal buildings, and factories.
At 25, driven by a desire to excel in the industry, Steve put himself through college at UW-Platteville, earning a BS in Civil Engineering in 1998 with emphases in structural engineering, project management, and concrete tilt-up design. While still in school he was hired by a major Madison-area contractor to oversee design-build work, and he went on to design and manage projects from small renovations to developments over $35 million.
Steve founded Meier Construction in 2001 for residential projects, developing his own systems and procedures to improve efficiency, build times, and quality. In 2014, he made Meier Construction his full-time focus. Since then he has continued to refine those processes — and remains dedicated to complete customer satisfaction, high quality standards, and competitive pricing.
